Mixing colors turning point

in my hand the brush will be dancing
colors intermingling, caressing the
empty white canvas. life will bloom
beaming with the radiance of nature.

mixing yellow and red, colors of dawn
mix water sugar orange, thirst in glass
combine red and blue, violets on lawn
yellow blue playing, dancing on grass

green grass of summer, tree leaves green
blue sky, yet dear i will always love you
white canvas waiting, daunting never seen
the brush full colors, with different hue

am already fifty five when i learn to paint
colors always facinate the eyes, so on lips
bright eyes no more, in poem i found a saint
now writing, turning the brush to pencil tips.
